Me too. On each boot up under XP I get a message stating that Windows has recovered from a serios error. In looking at the details, there is a very long error message having to do with BCP1 BCP2 etc. followed by 8 digit numbers. Then the message continues with Windows\minidump\ etc and finally Tmp.dir\sysdate.xml.
Any ideas what this is all about?
No idea......not really a big computer junky, but I'll keep sending them :)
It's the XP version of the BSOD. Booting from the XP CD and running a Repair might set things right again.

Tis a common problem with XP and FS2002.......I get it all the time.
I would hope that MS first fs2002 patch will cure it because I always send the report also.
If you upgraded to xp then, did you know that you can run the program in 'compatibility mode' Right click on the fs2002 shortcut and select properties then the compatibility tab.
Tick the 'Run this program in compatibilty mode for' and select your previous operating system from the list. It may fix your problem.
Don't know if it works on a clean install of XP though.
Incidentally, you can do this with any app thet has a problem running on XP but run ok in win98 or win2000.
Doesn't always work though.
It's worth a try

Just so you know...there's a section which mentions that in sending the report, you may send information to Microsoft which you don't want them to see.
The report includes a small memory dump, which contains anything in the system memory at the time of the dump, so don't send it if you have a wages spreadsheet running, or if you're typing letters with confidential information etc
They say that any information supplied to them would not be used, that they'll only use information in the dump to assist correcting the issue - yeah right :)
Cheers

I'm happy in the fact that, if they state it, they are bound by it.
I will continue to send the errors whether I have secret information or not. How else are they going to find out what the problems with FS2002 and XP are!
Anway, most people, like myself, close everything else down before they start FS. I actuall reboot everytime I fancy going flying.

I've attempted to send most of the, probably 70-80, errors that I got. But It seemed that for almost all of them my system would freeze, so I've stopped. I've never had this happen so much before.

My error messages occur on boot up when FS has not been launched so it doesn't seem to be an FS/XP compatibility issue in my case at least unless I am missing something which, when the subject is computers, is very likely.
