I don't really see jagged lines...
Your pics look really great! :D

But perhaps u have the anti-aliasing of the graphics card set off, if yes turn it on to at least 2x that should help.

The reason you don't see any jags is because I move the view to a spot where they are less evident. Is it just normal?

Have u checked ur anti-aliasing settings yet?
Must be somewhere in your graphics card options.

If your system has good specs u can set the anti-aliasing level up to maximum. The jaggies are mostly caused by completly turned off anti-aliasing.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-22-03 AT 05:37PM (EDT)[p]To get the most from your video card (I have the same one) make sure that you turn Anti Alaising on in your system display settings under Direct3D (don't let it choose application preference, force it to get like 4x It should be able to handle it). Then in FS make sure you turn Anti Alaising OFF. The windows driver will handle the AA for you. That should help.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-22-03 AT 05:44PM (EDT)[p]It was already at 4x. Do I really turn it off in FS though? What about anisotropic filtering?

Then Click the Settings tab, then click Advanced. Then click Direct3D tab. In there you'll see the setting for forcing the card to use AA. I set mine to 4X and it's a good compromise. When you do this you should see the radial button for "Allow application preference" or something like that. You want to force it to do 4x.

that should help, it took me a while of tweaking to figure this out, and I do this stuff for a living. hehe.

Edit: You can also set it to do Anistropic Filtering which allows for much more realistic textures. I have mine at 8X.

Yes. Turn it off in FS for sure. No kidding. It sounds crazy, but you're not letting the application make the AA decisions anyway. Try it and see. Anistropic filtering, I would set that to 8. It won't help with the jaggies, but it makes textures look tons better.

I tried it all the way up. The biggest problem I saw was when slewing it was studdering real bad. How much of a difference does it make and should click the performance or quality bullet also?
