Nebraska! What's out in Nebraska?! (Oooops, I see you are :p ). Just yankin' your chain. You being a local, what's it like? You happy with it? How's the water masking, the color? Any screenies?...

Haven't read any of the previous pages so this may be a duplicate but if I was planning a R-T-W trip (actually I am planning a Pole-to-Pole trip), I would use the Quest Kodiak (by Lionheart). Has...
Good... now that you have deleted FSX you can move up to P3D!
Just a tip, if you use up the USB ports on the Yoke make sure you have the AC adapter for the yoke. Otherwise, over time, you will blow your board inside your yoke. Didn't get one inside your box? ...
I have Florida, Virginia and New York of MSE v2 and I must say I have been dissapointed with the new series. Not so much like "being too flat" or "no night textures". That I knew about as I bought...
Shocking to hear that Lionheart was not paid a single penny for the excellent Acclaim. It is my "go to" aircraft when testing things out in P3D (that is, when I am not flying their Kodiak!). I...
Ah... found the issue. It was the rwy lights. Now all the FPS are nice and happy.
As of late I have been dabbling with Flightzone's Portland KPDX airport (man that beauty still even holds up to today's standards). Dropped her into P3D and she runs and looks great without a...
Our new Prepar3D "front end" program is progressing nicely. We are seeking an additional programmer to join the team and kick it up a notch. Also, now have several other projects on the drawing...
I have Megascenery Earth v2 Florida and just did a quick spot test at Orlando. I can see the progressive yellow taxi arrows, no problem.
I would snap up that Mindstar in a second if it work from a networked PC.
As the man said... go hardware. A great way to add immersion. Just feels so much better grabbing a yoke, flipping a switch or moving a throttle lever rather than pressing a keyboard button.
Great job Vic. I'm sure it is making many FSX'ers take a second look.
FSnext in 2013!
Good news piece. Great publicity for LM so I am sure it was a win-win for both sides. Thx for sharing.
Great news! FSnext will be in beta this summer.
Well, how did it run when you had it earlier? Did you have it running on P3D before and that's why you asked down here? I see they have a 30 day free trial so I would think that is pretty legit.
You say this will be for training real-world pilots. So I believe you will need to step this up quite a bit. The most important objects requires (in order of priority), are:
1. Fastest CPU you can...
I use Opus. Did they ever actually prove that FSX real-time weather is now no longer available? After reading some threads over there it appeared some are getting correct updates and some are not? ...
Check to see if you have another axis set to rudder. I was having the same issue as you, rudder locked to the left. I discovered my Saitek TPM had the mixture set for rudder. Once I cleared that...
I would only suggest a Titan if you are running your CPU between 4-5GHz. You need a high end CPU to take advantage of the Titan for FSX. Your system will only be as good as your weakest link.
Could be a .dll. Try removing one .dll at a time (if there are any) from the aircraft and see if P3D starts up. Just an idea.
Hey Jim, I see it says you are a moderator. Is it for this forum? If so, why would anyone want to moderate a forum for a fs platform they are not behind? I would think you would want to moderate...
This should give you a good start:

I switched to P3D shortly after 1.4 was released. Admittedly I was a tad hesitant but figured I could always just switch back on FSX. Well, I haven't switched back once! Yes, no earth shattering...
I have never heard of animated people with the installation of Acceleration. That's quite a surprise. I will have to go check this out. Thx.
