  1. Seems to be quicker but most importantly, I was using a RX 560 card and it ran a lot smoother after updating.
  2. It happens to me when I click to open it more than once.. Are you double clicking?
  3. I've been running it about a month now and find it to be stable, which is surprising. I got the Bing wallpaper app and get the new daily one...
  4. I can't speak on the AMD CPU, I haven't used one in years. I don't see many on here that use them complain 1 bit since I've been back. There was an issue with Win 11 I think slowing it down but an update fixed that up. Memory should be fine but the more the better if you are going to play other games. This sim goes easy on CPU and Mem.. but the best graphics card you can afford the better. It relies on it heavily. If you can, upgrade the 1 Tb HDD to an SSD or even better NVMe M2 drive. If you don't have the M2 interface on the motherboard, you can add a PCIe adapter card. That's what I had to do and what a difference. I know of one fella that has the 3090 and I saw his youtube video and it was most impressive. I hope this limited info helps you out! Donnie
  5. I came across this when I was looking for something else, hope it helps you out...
  6. I have always thought that Rex was the premier weather and airport software. They aren't in the marketplace but those "other guys" are. Since I have got the updated rig and the premium deluxe edition I'm ready for some enhancements, so to speak. I got the fall\spring scenery and well, I'm quite pleased with it especially if I fly up north. Is Rex still king or are the other guys comparable? I know I'm going to do the waterways and streets. Just not sure which way to go on the airport and weather enhancements. I'm sure a few of you have tried out both on here, what are your thoughts and experience? Thanks in advance... Donnie
  7. I've been dying to say this since the start of this thread. After a couple of Jim Beam black extra aged I'm just gonna let it rip.... At least you know where those hands aren't!!! Sorry for the attempted humor!
  8. I flew the G36 and topped off the tank with the quick menu since my local airport doesn't have a fuel truck in the sim. Even though the tank was full when it got down to half the engine died of fuel starvation. I flew another day and went to the fuel box and topped it off and had no issues. This wasn't an issue until that last update., at least for me.
  9. I've noticed a couple of these guys plugging for that sim... The way I see it if they were that happy with it they wouldn't be on here trolling.
  10. Auto wax (paste) always works for me. It has brought back severely scratched disc and I was able to play them. DVD's as well. I've even used them on game disc that are certainly Bluray. Very rarely has this failed me. EDIT. Auto PASTE wax!
  11. On commercial airliners the reversers will not deploy in flight, unless there is a fault on the squat switch located on the landing gear. The same squat switch is what activates the spoilers as the aircraft touches down and closes the circuit. This is why the switch is an IRI (inspection required item) and considered a safety of flight issue as called out in the corresponding aircrafts maintenance manuals.
