Nicely done, as usual, Pete!
Zach has posted a new file that fixes the vertical cloud and other issues.
As reported and confirmed elsewhere, the 347.09 beta release driver breaks the PAPI lights in P3D. No other anomalies have been noted.
A LOT of fixes? They incorporated two known tweaks and the rest all relate specifically to the steam MP setup.
Everyone is entitled to make a buck. I certainly wouldn't start jumping up and down...
IMHO, no. Since you already have UTX FSX it's an inexpensive upgrade to P3D version. Spending more on a competitive product that is not any better, especially in the US is a waste of funds.
UTX is not a complete landclass - it is a vector layer for urban areas. Orbx is textures, like GEX for FSX - it is not a landclass. The Open LC product is not complete but it is a landclass.
ROFL! You sure don't mince words!
Hey Duke - thanx for posting the link. I use the old ATM to occasionally control traffic and find it helpful. Does ATM load the default flight with the new a/c selection or is there a provision to...
Our OPINIONS differ.
Possible but check FSUIPC - there is a setting to have unlimited battery power. It's possible you have it unchecked and you are running out of power on some a/c which will cause the radios to cease...
Let's agree to disagree. I think Vector is a mess and you do not. I see the road anomalies with both and you do not.
Let's let the folks who want to try either form THEIR opinions, not parrot...
I cannot think of another way to say the SAME thing - SOME a/c will work and SOME will not - that's it - fini - end - no mas.
IF the a/c is not allowed to be used in P3D - don't ask.
If it is,...
Something else is going on unless you are just picking the wrong a/c. 2.3 or 2.4 won't make a difference.
Simply - yes there can be a major difference. If a product is designed for Acceleration (Gold) - it may not function properly in Deluxe.
Again, it is on a plane by plane basis - which a/c is...
It's on a plane by plane basis. Some work and some do not. Best to ask the developer if the product s compatible or if there is a workaround. There is no general answer.
Baloney! The problem is exactly the SAME with Vector.
UTX2 is just as compatible with Global as Vector and is more accurate data. I have both Global and Vector and I have UTX2 and they work...
I believe the autosave function in FSUIPC does that no?
Also, have you tried your FSX program in P3D? It might work.
I believe there is a keyboard command to toggle the ident - don't have it handy but if you find it you can try to use that. Sometimes some a/c have the logic there even when the gauge is absent.
I also use it and prefer it to Vector. I have FTX Global, Vector, FS 2010 Global, OpenLC. No problems.
Which is why I caution use of the EMT.
You are on slippery ground with this - some developers PROHIBIT install - you will get no help here if they are among your list.
Some do not prohibit install BUT they will not support it if you...
Not exactly correct. We can help UNLESS the developer PROHIBITS it. If the developer takes no stance there is no issue.
lehbird - Easiest way is to copy the folders to P3D then load the aircraft...
If you are using the GeForce 730 you mentioned in another thread - yes it will work. If you went back to the GTX250 - no it will not.
It's pretty much just like FSX. IF you use the FAVORITES button though, it makes the selection much easier. I just remove all the extra paints that I rarely fly and that shortens the list. As long as...
They are relevant to V2 also. I think he hasn't updated the title yet.
However - most P3D 2.4 users do not use any tweaks. Some might use job scheduler if they want to change from the default but...
