  1. I use Little Nav Map for flight planning, so it gives you the current wind at DEP/ARR airports. Not 100% match to what is in MSFS, but usually pretty close.
  2. Unless you set it otherwise, Steam will update silently in the background.
  3. I suggest waiting until the next sim update later this month, which is suppose to provide a performance boost. After this you will have a clearer picture of where things stands as far as performance.
  4. I believe he was saying how his mind may play tricks on him (of seeing some improvement) after the update is released.
  5. I never trusted the logbook MSFS and sure enough it got wiped out. Which wasn't a big issue since I use the logbook in LNM, which has 277 hrs.
  6. There are quite a few reports of issues with the rudder assignment after the last update. Try this, go into controls, if your current assignment for the rudder is 'Rudder (yaw left) and Rudder (yaw right)', change it to 'Rudder Axis Left' 'Rudder Axis Right'.
  7. There are two versions of the FBW a320, make sure you use the Developmental version. I believe the Stable version still uses the less than stable Asobo autopilot. Whereas the Developmental version uses an autopilot developed by the FBW team.
  8. I believe the files you are looking for are in the OFFICIAL folder, which I try to avoid venturing in to. All your existing Control Assignments are backed up in the cloud. Which does not mean if you make changes, to the existing Control Assignments, a duplicate exists that you could revert to. For your particular case, I think it would be better to simply make a duplicate of your current control settings, and give it a new name before you make changes. You can do this from the Preset Manager (OPTIONS|CONTROLS) look at bottom left of screen. That way you can always return to your original profile (right/left arrows below assigned device).
  9. Sorry to hear you are still having problems. I would suggest following guidance on the below page. It is mostly covers MSFS CTD but something there may help you. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/584365-zendesk-msfs-guidelings-for-solving-ctd-etc/
  10. Both are good enough, but as you probably determined the 2070 Super with an SSD would edge out the other computer. Guess it is sold out for a reason.
  11. Try running the Microsoft Store troubleshooting steps located below. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027498/microsoft-store-fix-problems-with-apps
  12. There is a file (oversized_trees_workaround.zip) in the library, not sure if that is the one mentioned.
