I like MyTraffic6.
Glad to have steered you in the right direction Al. I have never seen as dedicated group of people as those at HiFi.
I keep trying to tell people that when you get the right combo of hardware and hit the sweet spot for your system - P3D if freaking amazing.
That was my experience as well Larry when I went from a 480 to a 780 and also the 780 to 970 - not much fps difference but much increased graphic loads.
Thanx Mark - thought so but just a WAG.
Torkermax - I agree - if the system doesn't see the drive there's no way the sim will.
Emile - Have you tried changing Required=False to True?
I like PASI because in addition to the land based airport you have a seaplane base adjacent. The scenery is fantastic especially Orbx and Tongass Fjords.
I decided to take a trip around the edge...
I just took a flight up the western coast of California all the way to PASI. Breathtaking! Smooth as silk.
Sometimes the ASN crew can use something like Teamviewer to take control of your computer...
So? Perhaps they have $60 to plunk down? Perhaps they have nothing to plunk down. Perhaps they don't know that V3 is available. The OP didn't ask whether the $$ was worth it, just whether 2.5 was...
I found the update to be a good one. However, IMHO, Version 3 is far better. I would not go through updating to 2.5 unless you plan to stay there. LM has said they wil not be developing the 2.5...
If I had only one SSD, I'd use it for the OS, as Mark said - putting P3D on an SSD becomes a plus.
Hi Steve - Welcome to the P3D forum -
FSX - no further development
FSX:SE - being developed - has promise
P3D - being developed and establishing a solid footing.
For me - P3D hands down -...
Now, now boys - let's remember the written word is always open to interpretation. FWIW, in this case, I read it as Bobsk8 intended. And I actually agree. I use FSUIPC now to control everything...
You have to control the aircraft not let the a/c control you. When you land, even without using the brakes there are many natural factors that could cause the a/c to swerve. Your job is to use the...
what you need is practice. You must apply the brakes evenly or you will pull left or right. Since you are using a button you just have to alternate rapidly until you get the hang of it. Even with...
AL - as far as ASn goes, you might want to open a support ticket at:
it sounds like you have a permissions problem or your anti virus is blocking something....
Al - as far as ASN you just need to download the latest P3D version 5765 from http://www.hifitechinc.com/downloads.
ORBX has released PNW installer for V3, a new orbxlibs and some individual...
Bob - I am not denying that there may be bugs. Personally I have no joystick and/or control issues with V3 but there are enough reports to indicate that *something* is not right.
However not all...
Using an incompatible aircraft in P3D and it doesn't work. And that's a P3D bug?
Get real Bob. There are a lot of causes for what he describes and most of them have nothing to do with P3D.
try to figure out which gauge it is and see if you can substitute. If it's a custom - all you can do is ask the developer or try to delete the gauge and hope it's not critical.
What happens when you load a flight and are sitting at the location and then switch planes? Same problem?
It could be a specific gauge or something in the .air file. If anyone has it working...
Essentially, I agree Jim. I see the problem more with people who do not understand at all what is happening. The new folder structure is a recommendation NOT a command. Ultimately, all developers...
Although some have reported install issues, I have had absolutely no problems with ASN.
New version released to correct install issues:
The Carenado 550 autopilot has some issues but what exactly are you asking?
