Well thanks guys for the input. The prefetch is stored programs the once loaded they go to the prefetch area and does not have to be loaded by the computer again. I thought that if I had some bad dialogs loaded deleting the already loaded ones would load new ones the were good. I didn't know about the prefetch thing. I have 3 usb on the Acer and I have tried them all. Some times when I use FS it really works well then it quits. I really just use ga planes because I don't really expect to be flying 737s and up. Well I just will use the Dell to fly until I can fix the problem but it will be slow.

I notice now when I start the engine the rudder starts moving one side to the other. I was not watching this before. Sure is baffling!!!!!

Well I thought I had it fixed but no joy. The recent flight starts off ok with the rudder in neutral position and then suddenly moves left and throws the plane into a sudden turn. I correct the rudder with opposite and away we go back and forth. So I guess I don't have it corrected. Don R

Now I don't know if I solved the problem but I deleted the programs in prefetch just by accident and now the joystick seems to work correctly. So I will keep using it and see if I really fixed the problem. BTW thanks for the reply Don R

Well I guess this one is a tough one to solve.

Well I have rudder flutter on a fs2004 version and some years back it worked fine. I have a logtech wing man joy stick that has worked for a good while but does not now work on a AcerA515-51-5398. So I have an old Dell that will run fs 2004 and I connected the same joystick and it runs fine except slow. It does not have any flutter and I am happy. The Acer has W 11 and the Dell has W XP. I cannot understand what would cause the js to work on one and not the other. Do any of you guys have some thoughts on this. I thought the js was going bad and was going to get another js but tried it on the Dell and things were fine but slow. So now I need some suggestions. Thanks Don R

Well as the ball use to move in turns it does not move in any plane now. So I was wondering what stopped it from moving. And the other problem is the rudder flutter comes and goes. So 2 frustrating situations. But I suppose I can handle it. I just like to fly the single or the multi engine ga planes Don

Well it does not flutter when just setting still. If I touch the joystick then it moves left and right looking from the tail. It is driving me bonkers. I do have another logtech joystick but it is really bad as far as so loose and just runs all over the place. and it is the force feedback type. Your comment about the rudder pod might be the answer. When it works I will fly and if it doesn't I will just TV LOL Don R

Well the auto coordinate is unchecked and the twist does work. I have been having problems getting pretty disgusted trying to fly.with rudder flutter on the ground Once in the air it works pretty good. Things were working well years and then this happened. Thanks for the reply Don R

Well I use to get the ball in the coordinator to move on a turn and had to twist the joy stick to center it. Any more it does not move. What controls the ball and did I do something to stop it? Is there a fix? Don R

Ok will do. Some times it seems to work well with a different plane.

Well I have the above joystick which has worked well for years. I now have a runaway rudder. The rudder moves left to right on take off which make the takeoff tough. I have adjusted sensitivities and also assignments over and over and the rudder manual or automatic which sometimes helps. I am wondering if someone can help me out correcting this problem. I need to have control over the rudder to do some slips on landing. This problem sure makes using the sim a pain Don

Thanks all for the replays. Tim the file you sent to me was the one that I have been using for all the years and somehow it disappeared from my computer. I got it setup and now I can open the air files again. Thanks

What are people using to open AIR files? I had an adobe program and it seemed to have disappeared. I have been trying to get it back but can not get it from Adobe. I use to modify the air file if I want to fly a ai plane. Can anyone help me out? Don R

Ok Thanks. I reduced the scenery but it left one building right in the middle of the departure end of rw 21 which now has changed and actually has been closed
