No it's worse... but then again it solves a lot of the stuttering issues. As Phil states, it's a tradeoff.
Yes with the 600 series using SMX core architecture it's a HUGE difference. Previous models you would just go by RasterOps. You can still go by that count, but essentially they are implemented...
I prefer active sky.. as the raw data itself is pretty useless ;)
How can that be FTX: England? That looks worse than the default FSX version...
So the plan is to tell us what to think, instead of delivering what we actually want?
The hobby will last about as long as the third party developers do. Which won't be forever. I doubt anyone is entering the market at this point, just folks leaving one by one. I remember one...
I hear they use xbox controllers...
Even Flight had issues under windows 8. But they fixed those right away.
It will cause problems with other programs if FSX is running. Not pretty..:(
You need to install the Uiautomationcore.dll again. FSX has been broken since Vista.

Must be tough running a magazine these days... with the addon market drying up it must be terrible difficult to attract ad revenue.
I think the bottom line comes down to they don't want to support us. Which is good because they need to focus on developers and commercial licensees. It's kind of that way at my company, sure...
I personally prefer the windows logo. Sticking everything on the motherboard is another good trick. The problem is when people try to brand things and that leaves it out of sync with the reference...
You'd think MS would figure out a way to stop breaking hardware compatibility by now....
Just to confuse things more Windows 8 is the only version with a 64 bit boot, all previous versions start out as 16 bit OS and build layers from there. 64 bit is Much faster, and has even less...
perhaps if it supported your argument you'd actually look up the word magnitude...
Actually the most advanced product is not a simulator but an addon. PMDG. That's what I think of the subject... However freeware aircraft in X-plane are a magnitude greater than FS freeware.
Yes at which point all our present day software will stop working... You all got fooled by the Intel train...
no i'm pretty sure JavaScript has a future and isn't blocked by every vendor ;)
