So, you are using one aircraft.cfg for your multiple aircraft and they all float above the ground? Sounds like a [Contact Point] problem. Do you remember which Camsim 787 was the first one? That would be the one to download and check out.

You may want to do a whole lot of reading through the MSFS 2020 forums here and maybe over at AVSIM.com. If you think you are having problems with FSX, you are in for a real treat with everything going on with the newer Sim.

I just used the Wayback Machine and downloaded a helo from Hovercontrol from 2017. Don't know how trustworthy the download is!

After talking with the Head Guy at SOH, the move to the new software will be in May and he has serious doubts and concerns about the file library. Sound familiar?
