  1. Haven't posted any info in a while so here goes...

Current tour is one of the sister cities of Spokane, WA in various aircraft. Currently in S. Korea awaiting departure to China in a 737-800.

Current fun projects (sim related): customizing a Connie panel, making some minor gauge changes for the FS2002 Spartan Executive, and trying out a North-American/Rockwell T39-A Sabreliner. Fun stuff.

  2. What a pleasant surprise to find a holiday greeting. Thanks very much and I wish you and yours a wonderful holiday and a great new year.
  3. Merry Christmas!
  4. Seems people are stopping in here once in a while so I may as well post a message. The world tour continues in the Cessna 152 with the latest flight into Barcelona, Spain. When I'm not flying the tour (but still simming) I've been spending time in Peru with a de Havilland Twin Otter having a blast.

  5. Thanks for the invite, mate. Darn it -- y'all have me saying "mate" now. :)
  6. Thanks for the pointer I have downloaded the file and I hope to work on the shuttle soon, I assumed it might have been the contact points but knew too little to even attempt to fiddle.

I would like to extend an invitation to you to join The Dirty Old Mens Flying Circus, Please visit my page and look for the animated gunship in the groups sections youre welcome to just visit and see if the idea appeals to you

  7. Not sure what could be happening with your orbiter, but on-the-ground-stance problems are usually caused by bad definitions for the contact points in the aircraft.cfg file. There's a tutorial that I thought was really good here in the Flightsim library. It's filename "fsplaned.zip" by Derek G. Swanson. In it he gives tests you can conduct to isolate problems, then offers possible fixes for them.
  8. Perhaps you can help me with a problem then. I have a nasa orbiter in my hanger problem is the stance is all wrong the craft sits flat on its rear bay doors with the nose gear in the air I could never fix it so I dont fly it anymore, some of the enjoments gone. thats in FS2002 in FS98 the craft is great I like the whole package. Another thing Im unhappy about with the FS2002 is the shots for a proper cockpit are there but I have some two bit panel running in the craft. I have been meaning to rebuild the cockpit using the proper shots but never seem to get there.
  9. Well, me, I'm not all that good with the artwork. But I spend a lot of my time (re)doing panels and aircraft handling to suit my taste. I was with the aeronautics division of SimNASA where we did virtual NASA type things using FS and Orbiter space flight simulator. But, SimNASA recently closed down so all my simulator time is spent on the C152 world tour. And once in a while I try my hand at programming simple addons or gauges. Ok, I need to get some work done today, so off I go.
  10. As you may have seen Im a total nutter who likes doing weird stuff I love painjobs as you can see from my babies. The paintjob Im working on currently is a "what if" Biofuel A380 inspired by the Japenese airline experiment. What are you up to for FS2002? Im strugling to create a harbour for Durban, Ive got the ships working but I dont know how the scenery builders work and so far Ive failed to get anything right. I see you are not on line right now so Ill see you around.
  11. Yep, we FS2002 folks need to stick together. :) Sounds like you enjoy tinkering with scenery and aircraft as well, which is another thing we have in common.
  12. Thanks for the contact mate I decided I needed some freinds with simmilar interests, seems Ive found em!
