Hi guys I have been using V5 pretty much non stop. I got a few "device hung" errors a few weeks ago but no issues since runnings some tips i found. Now using the PMDG 747 it seems to crash upon switchings viewsm (chaseplane) with the device hung error. Would anyone know why this would be doing this all of a sudden when no software, hardware or settings have changed? This is right at the start of my flight in a default airport and VRAM usage on my RTX2080ti 11GB card is very low My specs are in my signature I went into event viewer and found these two items but not sure what they mean or the cause. Hi guys Just wondering what you all think of getting a Navigraph charts subscription? It would 100% be helpful when flying SID/STARS in the PMDG but for airports that are default P3D I am assuming the apron/taxi charts won’t be correct as the Airport wouldn’t be accurate? Just looking for some opinions before committing to a subscription

Hi all I am running P3D V4.5 and have a pretty decent computer but really bad performance, I am talking 12fps at times I am testing on FS dream team LAX as this would be intsenisve but i literally have the poorest perfromace. I even check usage when using p3d and none of my PC components are struggling. I have tested many other high areas such as YSSY, KSFO, KJFK, YBBN and they are pretty poor with performance I do have pretty high settings in p3d set but if my PC isnt bottlenecked anywhere i am not sure why the serious lag? Would there be any settings I need to check outside P3D? Even adjusting sliders in P3d i can gain some FPS but nothing substantial, my weaker PC i replaced had better peformance than this. So far i have tried changing in NVIDIA control panel from 60HZ to 30HZ which gave me 10 fps more but was really laggy still. I have also played aroudn with locking FPS, Vsyn etc My system is: AMD Ryzen 3800X 8 Core 4.30GHZ 32GB RAM 1TB SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11gb Thank you in advance

Hey guys i haven’t done flight sim on my own computer for a very long time and only FSX with a low end computer back then. I have a gaming PC now but hoping for some opinions on how it will actually handle P3D as only used someone else’s machine Also how high do you think i will get the settings with this setup. I plan to switch to FS2020 when its released SPECS: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8 core 3.6 GHz RAM: ADATA XPG 32gb 3200mhz RGB memory GPU: gigabyte AORUS Radeon RX 5700 XT 8gb drive: 1TB SSD Let me know what you think Thank you all

I just ordered online an ungraded ram to install so hoping this will help out my performance but still need to consider the eGPU

unfortunately have no choice but to stick with imac running windows 10 as this computer is new

i currently sit on 30fps on the ground and 55fps in the air but heavy traffic and weather slows it right down. I actually have ordered an additional 32 gb of RAM to install and am thinking about a more powerful external eGPU to run P3D. Obviously nothing i can do about the CPU but this doesn't seem to reach capacity anyway according to task manager

Hi all, Hope you’re all doing well! I run P3D on my iMac with boot camp (yes I know 😞 but I can’t change it) My GPU is the thing that’s affecting my performance the worst as the processor and memory are still within range at by current settings i am thinking of getting an external GPU, which sold have a Radeon RX Vega 56 with 8gb of HBM2 memory which is compatible with Mac and is double the gpu memory of what I currently have my question is would I see any performance improvement with this external gpu? My Specs are 3.0GHz 6-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz RAM: 8GB Radeon Pro 570X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory  1TB Fusion Drive

Hi everyone, back on flight sim after a long break. I am now using P3Dv4 in lieu of FSX. I am starting to build my add ons again so have just purchased ORBX and now I’m looking at weather. What REX product do you recommend? Rex 4 texture direct seems the best because it includes weather, clouds and even runways. The other newer ones don’t see to have all this just hoping someone can confirm which product is superior thanks!
