  1. No I haven't used this, never heard of it before. I will take a look into this now, thanks.
  2. Thank you so much for this, I should have done more research. Saved me some money.
  3. Yes I see this. It blew me away because a external HD is maybe $400 these days. Wonder how well it might work to store ortho Scenery?
  4. So I saw this on amazon and said, wait, what. If it's to good to be true, then it most likely isn't true. What do you think? If I buy would my money just be swept off into cyberspace? https://www.amazon.ca/External-Hard-Drive-16TB-Portable/dp/B0BX6QN6F5/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=NAIAI&qid=1681421317&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A3H2EAX9LPPFX6&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFORjdFS1FLMVJPOVEmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAwMDU3MzIzNjhGSlU5QzlUQ0VOJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA2Mzk4MzdUNEVSVkpFMkwwVFomd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
  5. Yes, I learned this as well, so for each plane I program Ctrl+# so that I can quickly jump to necessary views, it works well once you get use to it. The pop out feature of MSFS isn't very good, unfortunately, it's an area they should work on. Many of us use multiple monitors and like very much to place large sized gauges on a second monitor for instance.
  6. Good gravy!. While I like the idea, this file contains over 500 objects each on their own folder, so even using Linker, there are 100s of lines, shortcuts put into the community folder...surely this could be more efficient.
  7. This was my experience. While I am an avid XP11 now XP12 flyer as well I went totally to XP. MSFS has advanced fairly well, and many of the problems have solutions to I have recently dived into that sim. There are still bugs but I am enjoying much of the sim. If we could only port over the glorious planes from XP and the 3-D trees that show weather, wind and such... that would be nice.
  8. RESOLVED #1 - Still don't have anything on Multi Switch Panel Finally, had to make a new account at flightsimulation.com, why I don't know. Then I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time reading posts and such before it would allow me to post. I made a post and it found a similar post. Turns out I had to make a new profile for the Wheel for it to work, the other profiles would not work, for what reason I do not know. It's a strange sim.
  9. Firstly, I need to say I'm a veteran flightsimmer, and the ridiculous "Trust" garbage on the flightsimulator.com forum is absolutely nuts. I just want to get a simple answer to my questions. ISSUE I have returned to MSFS2020 after a long hiatus. I managed to get much of my basic controls to bind as I would like. But, 1. My Proflight Cessna Trim Wheel shows in the list of Controlling Options and when I tested the drop-down choices one appeared to work, Joystick L-Axis X...however going back to the sim, it does not work. - I tried a myriad of variations, nothing works, I know the wheel works perfectly in XP11 and XP12. - I looked it up in Device Manage, HID devices, and it is not listed - I went and got new drivers and installed, shut down, rebooted, and launched MSFS and no joy. - I have no idea how to bind the trim wheel, which I rely on heavily when flying and hate to look down and mouse trim movements. ANYONE, know how to bind a Saitek Trim Wheel? 2. I can't get my sim to recognize the Multi Switch Panel. Not one aspect of this panel works, it is not listed in the Device manager and I reinstalled the most recent drivers. Of course its getting power. - when I switch to XP, every aspect of this panel works perfectly ANYONE, know how to get this panel recognized and functioning in MSFS? Trying to get this sim to work for me has been frustrating to the extreme.
  10. Saitek Pro! for me, worked like a charm for 10 years and still going strong.
  11. Bravo! I have driven through there many times on my snow birding trips to southern CA and back to Canada, and always stop for a bite in this sleepy town.
  12. Just trying to understand, do you have both Win7 and Win10 installed on the same PC. I personally hate WIN10 on my laptop, I have WIN7 pro on my PC and don't want to update but I would if I could somehow keep WIN7...my situation is if it ain't broke don't fix it and my WIN7 is perfect. Bryan
  13. Just the way I'm feeling this morning. I don't normally say anything if I don't have something good to say, but before I download I like to see a screenshot...something taken in the dark of night is totally useless to see if the contribution is worth the effort. May I suggest some daylight over view shots.
  14. Nice Sidney! Welcome to XP world, thanks for your endless contributions.
