  1. Hi, In one of the newest Farmstrips of Neil Birch I found a file Aircreation. It indeed makes those ultra-lights visible on the airfield. Splendid! Now I would like to know if they are only "statics" or are they also flyable? At least they do not show up in my aircraftselectionwindow. Is that O.K. or wrong? Piet de Geus Netherlands
  2. Hello Kapitan, Please can you be more specific in your solution? Or point to the message that tells step by step what to do. My attemps did not work. Thanks in advance, Piet
  3. Steve, This works indeed, although I would have preferred it as a toggle-solution for short periods. Thanks.
  4. Hi, Who know how to toggle the visibility of the gauges that are presented in the External Window-view? Having them temporarily unvisible is good for pictures or movies. Or just flying in valleys or along rivers. Piet de Geus
  5. External PLN-files can be imported into MSFS. Go to the LOAD/SAVE-function, activate it and you'll see the location where FLT's and PLN's are stored. Then move that imported plan into that location. Then you can use it via the LOAD-function Piet de Geus
  6. Hi, What a terrible mess is the camera-function, unbelievable complex, hard to understand. Why did the developers go away from the simple, but effective FSX/P3D way of inside- and outside-views, to be steered by the HAT-switch. Every position was selectable. Can we as community ask for a return of this way of camera-work? Piet de Geus Netherlands
  7. Why only jet-airliners? There are a lot of other categories with very interesting aircraft and a lot of users. Thinking of iconic prop-liners (DC-3), WW2 fighters (Spitfire, P-51)and -bombers (Lancaster, B-17, B-25), cargo-aircraft C-130), vintage aircraft (Tiger Moth, Stearman Kaydett) etc etc. P{iet de Geus, Netherlands (member of DC3 Airways)
  8. Hi, The offering of aircraft in the DeLuxe and Premium is in principle more of the same, almost all aircraft are light GA's, all more of the same. Why???????. I would have expected a different offering, more iconic vintage aircraft, warbirds, rotorcraft. The only reason why I added Deluxe is for the availability of EHAM Piet de Geus Netherlands
  9. Hi, I just saw the presentation of the aircraftselectionmenu. It is very unnatural that the sequence is based on providers. Why should I have to know the name of the provider to select/find an Airbus? Searching for or sequence of the manufacturer is the natural way of searching/scrolling. Piet de Geus Netherlands
  10. Hello Kaplan, As you say the emulation of P3D/FSX aircraft in FS202 will probably be poor. On the other hand, the offer of aircraft in FS2020 is very limited and is in majority only light GA's. So I am thinking of keeping two sims, one for the scenery, e.g. flying along coastlines and in mountains, valleys etc and one for still experiencing the goodies and specialisms of our beloved aircraft as WW2 bombers (Lancasters, B-17's, B-25's etc), transporters (C-47's ), fighters (Spitfires, P-51's, ME109's) and piston engined airliners (L049, DC6 etc), the investment beeing done. reg., Piet de Geus
  11. Hi Loki, But how are they adressed??????, do they have to be moved into some kind of aircraft-folder or can they be adressed by some king of add-on.xml as is the case in Prepar3D ?
  12. Many people, included myself have invested in add-on aircraft. As the number and type of new FS2020 aircraft is mainly small GA-aircraft, I am very much interested if our "old" aircraft will fly (may less nice then the default ones) and then the question is also how to address those aircraft (will there be some kind of simobjects.cfg?) With kind regards, Piet de Geus
  13. Hello, In all demo's up til now I saw more or less the same aircraft. What can be said about compatibility of our FSX/Prepar3D add-on aircraft of suppliers as A2A, Aeroplane Heaven, Just Flight etc etc and of all the freeware producer? It would be a pity when these investments would be lost when going to FS2020 or prevent transfering to it.
  14. Hi, Yes I have FreeMeshX as well, but investigating actually its usefullness in well detailed photosceneries. In default scenery it adds value. Piet
