Guy's Been fighting this tooo long. I have managed (and do not know how I did it) to get two maps running in FSX. When all goes well with Sbuilder and my map is in a folder on my C drive, when I go to FSX scenery library - add area - Nav to C drive and click folder it pops up in the small square and hi lighted in "directory " I click OK and close that box then click the other OK. The black bar runs but map does not show up.. Any Help ?? Regards

I'm back. First Jim F. Thanks for the info on google earth will give that a try. What happened I missed up my computer so back had to do a lot of cleaning and unstalling/reinstalling etc.. Jim, Question how did you get an older version of google earth in Sbulider? And another, Have you ran into a situation that after you have typed in your N/W positions and go to show back ground it comes up to a different area ? If so do you know how to keep that from happening ? Regards

UP-Date Got thru step 30 and now have a map in FSX that looks good. Will continue working "happy Me"..

I was able to get a map from virtual sat. was never able to get one off goggle earth. But now when I try to the part where you draw the square and click ok it compiles but when I click view and show background it never goes away. I try to continue but will not. I have to start with new project again . anyway will go back to work on in tomorrow.. Regards

Jim F. I have a question. If I am working on a map for my area that zoom level in step 12 like 44X?? at 17 ZOOM, does not seem to be the right choice. That must be some kind of a variable. What your take on that ? Regards

I got over some big hurdles and now have my map in my "SPI folder", but the only thing in it is a picture of the map of south padre island. I think their should be some BGL File/s but do not know Ill work on it today and see if I can get it into addon scenery. Ill post later Regards

Jim F. I am plugging away at it. Your work is helping a lot. My handicap is that I am 74 and Learning is (at my age) a dirty word. But I am so disappointed in the mess that scenery solutions made of this area (Brownsville/South padre Island) where I flew before I lost my medical and now only have FSX that I am determined to learn enough to fix it. Guy's I am stuck again can get up to Part II set 9. When I click show background all I get is a plank page. What am I doing wrong?

I can not find "resample.exe" in K fold, any help?
