  1. C'mon, 747 vs. 150? No comparison! :) Kidding aside. What did we dream of as kids when thinking of, seeing, or traveling by air? The cool cats up front and the amazing machines they were commanding. Don't get me wrong, low slow flying is a blast and has it's magic, but the cool factor comes in full swing on a big Boeing or the like. Neil
  2. For those looking for "modern", sfs-midg-phx2020-v1.zip and the associated original files really are a gem. Kind of dates the Simflyers version, which depicts quite a bit of construction happening in the early 2000's. Neil
  3. Roger, appreciate your communication. Tim, yep - I've had all that for years. Good filler, and that is what I'm using now, but some of it is rather dated in comparison to Camil's. Neil
  4. Respectfully, it's a forum. And, my intent is to put nobody "on the spot", but to express appreciation and discuss new ideas. Potentially, others would respond favorably, and that would make it worth his while. And, my hope is that he isn't as thin-skinned as your guarded reply hints toward. Neil
  5. Hello Camil, I want to first say thank you for your wonderful contributions to the community. I am certain they are all well received and appreciated around the world. My question to you - would you ever entertain creating static versions of your ground equipment to easily be used by the likes of EZ Scenery, so one could use/place them around airfields near flyable or AI planes of choice? Your equipment looks amazing, and I'd bet a great many users would make use of a static pack for this kind of thing. I know I would! :) My best to you, Neil
  6. Thanks to both of you for your replies. Since I know nothing of XML code, I am out of the game with regards to getting around "number 2" above. At least I learned of GeoLock, and can try some things there. Kind regards, Neil
  7. Good evening, As I go through and add airport scenery objects to many airports - with EZScenery, I had hoped to use objects from 2 FSDreamteam airports (KORD & KLAX). I noticed either I can't see them when at another airport while using EZScenery, or, I'll get the message that warns something like "Can only be used in it's own scenery area", hence either KORD or KLAX. Is there any way around this? Not being dirty, just for my private enjoyment of upgrading airports in the privacy of my own home. I tried coping BGL files to other scenery directories but that didn't do anything. If I'm stuck, then end of story. Just wondered if I could "trick without malice" for my own use. Thanks much, Neil
  8. "Maybe some files from yr main FS9\Scenery folder accidently ended up in yr recycle bin........' Or, while working in Windows Explore, potentially "slid" a folder into another without realizing it? Neil
  9. Thanks Hans, I guess I misinterpreted what he was saying in the read-me. Is a pity. :( Kind regards, Neil
  10. Hello, The more recent versions of Camil's planes have some very attractive ground equipment/vehicles, and I was under the impression - based on the read-me file, that one can set this up for any aircraft in FS9? There is a link to a webpage that supposedly explains this, but the webpage doesn't seem to exist. Does anyone have any experience with how to implement this equipment "at will", if it can be done? Thanks very much, Neil
  11. I'm good now Chris, thanks. I found my "missing link" when running a flight yesterday. It's the "ABACUS" tab when hitting "ALT" on my keyboard. Let's me start EZScenery up and everything I thought I was missing is now available again. All of my object placement options and functionality is back. Appreciate your replies very much. :) Neil
  12. I do have the software installed. I'll have a look at the other options you mentioned. None of my stuff is ever NOT in a hand made directory. Thanks Chris! Neil edit: can't get any of the ScruffyDuck download links to respond and start a download.
  13. Hello, Please forgive me, as it's been years since I've messed with this. I wanted to add some buildings to a route where the cargo ramp is pretty bare. Way back, I thought I was able to use the RW12 Object Placer and select through all of the default FS9 objects. I remember seeing all the airport building structures, etc. I have since upgraded computers, and OS's. I can open the Object Placer without issue, and have a few selections to wee through, though not able to see all the default stuff. Is there a way to get default objects back to the "Category" drop down box? Am I way off base, and this utility wasn't the correct one to view and help place these items? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Neil
  14. Larry, I agree - not knowing a) what broke it, and b) what exactly fixed it, is a whole different frustration. :)
  15. Update: I copied my FSDT/KLAX scenery to a backup folder, leaving the original in place. Figured, what the hell, run the installer again. Not sure what it fixed, but it fixed the issue. The amount of files is the same, and I see no updates to file dates anywhere, but I won't question it. I also have used AFCAD2 to modify numerous times in the last 30 minutes with no ill effect. I'll consider this - CASE CLOSED :) Again , I thank you all for your time and wisdom. Neil
