• Review: DHC-4 Caribou For X-Plane

    The de Havilland Canada DHC-4A Caribou is a twin engine cargo aircraft. It was used by the military in many countries and survives to these days as a bush plane. The X-Plane version by Gerald Rader is the DHC-4A/C-7A configuration. Reviewer Rik Nilsson takes it for a flight and offers his report.

    Review: GEX North America

    The GEX series from Flight1 is one of those utilities that changes the overall look of FSX. Ground Environment X North America v2.1 is examined in this article by reviewer Bill Stack. While results vary depending on what part of the world you are in, he finds that the textures do improve the look of the world while flying.

    Review: FoxOne Advanced Edition

    FoxOne Advanced Edition is a special version of the action flight sim released last year by SkyFox Games. It contains many new features added following the community feedback, as well as new content, improved user interface for gameplay and a more balanced game progression. Reviewer Nirosan Pragash tried it on several mobile devices and found it great fun to fly.

    Review: Alabeo R66 Turbine For X-Plane

    Helicopters are a bit of a niche both in real world aviation and among flight simmers. Dedicated GA pilot Shawn Weigelt decides to spread his interests though and gives the R66 Turbine from Alabeo. He finds it to have the quality that Alabeo is well known for and that is presents an interesting challenge, though it does require the proper flightsim hardware.
