X-Plane 10 Handley Page HP 42/45 1.5.1. The Handley Page H.P.42 and H.P.45 were British four-engine biplane airliners designed to a 1928 Imperial Airways specification by Handley Page of Radlett in Hertfordshire. The HP42 was designed for the long-range Eastern routes and the similar HP45 was built for the European routes. Imperial Airways called the HP 42 the H.P.42E (E for "Eastern" routes - India and South Africa), while the HP 45 was the H.P.42W (W for "Western" i.e. European routes). This X-Plane model looks much like the vintage aircraft, but the author has taken the liberty of adding some modern avionics to the panel for those wanting to follow the original routes. No GPS or FMS, but there is an autopilot and radio with an HSI so the pilot does not have to hand fly the plane for hours on end. Please read the 'README INFO' file in the package for more complete information. By Ron Norvelle.

X-Plane 11 Caproni Campini C.C.2. The Caproni Campini N.1, also known as the C.C.2, was an experimental jet aircraft built in the 1930s by Italian aircraft manufacturer Caproni. The N.1 was powered by a motorjet, a type of jet engine in which the compressor is driven by a conventional reciprocating engine. The N.1 first flew in 1940 and was briefly regarded as the first successful jet-powered aircraft in history, before news emerged of the German Heinkel He 178's first flight a year earlier. There are two models in this package: a research aircraft (reconstruction) for modern airshows, with minimal instrument panel, plus a fully armed (had it been accepted for mass production), with modern full glass fictional instrument panel. Documentation included in the download. By Billy Bargagliotti.

X-Plane 11 Supermarine S-6B 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 Supermarine S-6B, for X-Plane 11. The Supermarine S.6B was a racing seaplane developed by Reginald Mitchell for the Supermarine company in order to win the Schneider Trophy in 1931. It was the last in the line of racing seaplanes developed by Supermarine and followed the S.4, S.5 and the S.6. The plane is light and power is high. Expect violent tendency to roll to the left on take-off when leaving the water. The S-6B has no flaps so plan your landing well ahead with a shallow descent and no power and touch the water almost in horizontal flight. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel. Thanks to Dataroots for providing the sound files. Thank you to Jacques Brault for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).
