The one presented here is an aircraft from the "Flotiile 15F" of the Aeronavale and was in service in Algeria from 1955 to 1961, operating from Telergma, an air base near Constantine.     X-Plane 8 And 9 Northrop P-61 Black Widow. The Northrop P61 Black Widow, named for the American spider, was the first operational U.S. warplane designed as a night fighter, and the first aircraft designed to use radar. This download contains three variants of the P-61: P-61B "Lady in the Dark", probably the most famous P-61 of WW2 (548th NFS) scored the final two kills of WW2 in August 1945 (it is the default aircraft). Then there is P-61A "Lady Gen", a P-61A without a turret, flown by Lt. Paul Smith who shot down 5 German aircraft and a V-1 Bomb, and finally P-61A "Nightie Mission" from the 6th NFS which was based in Saipan in July 1944. During 1941, a substantial number of P-40Bs and Cs were shipped to USAAC bases overseas, including the 15th and 18th Pursuit Groups at Wheeler Field, Hawaii and the 20th Pursuit Squadron of the 24th Pursuit Group at Clark Field in the Philippines.     X-Plane 9.70+ Spitfire PR Mk XIX. This is a representation of the Spitfire PR MK XIX, the last operational type of Spitfire to be used by the RAF. This model is a modification of USAFR's Spitfire MK XIX (the one with contra rotating props and clipped wings). It has a griffon engine and the big 5-bladed prop, along with normal, yet unarmed wings. The plane comes with 8 liveries: Christophe Jacquard's F-AZJS, PM631 in SEAC reco paint scheme, a figuration of the prototype markings, PS887 in the standard PRU blue reco paint scheme, PS915 "the last!" painted in the colors of the last operating spitfire of the RAF, 11-60 of Swedish AF, 133 of the Turkish AF, and a basic grey paint with photoshop files so as to create your own liveries. This X-Plane model includes custom sounds and a couple liveries. It also has a small bomb load slung under the wings. It flies quite smoothly, but adverse yaw can be a little severe.
