So far, I have this amazing add-on working in P3D (and not in Legacy Mode). The developer does allow you to use it in P3D but they have never tested it in P3D themselves, so it's a use at your own risk kind of thing. Well, plenty of folks seem to have it working so I decided to give it a try and, well, here's some screeny proof that she flies just fine. FYI, this is only my second time flying her, so I'm still learning the Dash 8. One thing I noted right off the bat is you will definitely need to use right aileron trim! So far, though, this aircraft is an absolute pleasure to hand fly. Enjoy the pics.

Greasing the landing, baby! The trick to good landings in this aircraft is to get dirty and lined up along the centerline early and don't cut the power until the mains touch down.
