General aviation pilots used to the normal Piper and Cessna aircraft will be in for a surprise when trying out the new Cirrus SR22 from Eaglesoft: a truly modern plane both in the airframe design and the avionics. Plus it's fast for a single; even faster that Cirrus' earlier SR20. Though modern light planes are rare in the real world, they are readily available to flightsimmers. Learn all about this one by reading Andrew Herd's review.

There are a lot of utilities around that add computer generated AI aircraft traffic to FS2004. But the latest v4.0 of MyTraffic 2006 is, in the opinion of reviewer Andrew Herd, the best of the bunch. MyTraffic 2006 generates traffic at over 6500 airports using 161 aircraft in over 2500 liveries. It includes special features like a "time machine" that lets it generate traffic that is realistic to various past time periods. Learn all that it can do by reading the complete review.
