Carenado has along history of making quality general aviation aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. For a couple years now they have been doing X-Plane add-ons too and in this review Dominic Smith takes a look at one of their first, the Mooney M20J.

The Embraer Phenom I00 is a Very Light Jet (VLJ) developed by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. FeelThere have created a version for FS2004 and FSX that is nicely modeled and reasonably accurate. Reviewer Bill Stack puts it through its paces and offers his results here.

HiFi Technologies' Active Sky 2012 is several programs in one. It enables FSX users to enhance their graphics on land, water, and sky. It enables creating flight plans better than those made by FSX. And it enables users to gather more detailed real-world weather or create more detailed custom weather. This features improve the entire FSX world. ORBX is well known for creating extraordinarily detailed scenery and have taken on their most ambitious project yet, size-wise, in covering all of England with FTX scenery. Reviewer Raymond Andersen is very pleased with the results and offers his comments here.

The F-111 Aardvark had a successful career in the US and Australia. It's big for a fighter type aircraft, and unusual in having moveable wings. Steve Hess and Roman Stoviak have created a fine FSX version, based on a freeware Alphasim version. Reviewer Dylan Brown flies the plane and offers his findings here.
