TransLink News
After an extensive survey done at TransLink Virtual Inc.'s (parent company of TransLink Virtual Airlines) Virtual YVR
web site, CEO Stuart Blackbourn made a startling announcement. The company had announced the formation of Pacific Western Virtual Airlines. PWVA is to going to be a vintage airline, that is it will be based in the 1960's, '70's, and 80's, and will be based on the original Pacific Western Airlines which bought out CP Air way back in 1986. Extensive research is going into the PWVA project including the acquisition of aircraft such as DC3s and -4s, 737-200's, and 707's to name a few; also, route scheduling will be entirely based on the original airlines mandate. The web site is currently under construction and should be fully operational by the end of January 2001. At this time the airline is not taking applications for membership, but applications for the board of directors & staff will be accepted, required positions include: research director, WebMaster, Vice President (overall in charge of PWVA), and chief operations officer (COO). All applications can be sent to translink@home.com.
