• FlightSem Software Lowers Prices

FlightSem Software (FSS) announces that they have permanently lowered the prices on two of their scenery products for FSX:

    Southampton Port X

FlightSem Software - Southampton Port X

The Port of Southampton X is the second volume in a series of 'European & UK Ports UTX' add-on scenery developed by FlightSem Software (FSS) specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

This scenery will not - repeat - will not - display correctly with Microsoft Flight Simulator X unless it has been upgraded with Microsoft's FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack, Flight 1 Ultimate Terrain X (Europe) and Ground Environment X (Europe) software products. Without these upgrades, some 3D-objects will appear in the sea, part of the Port coastline will become cliffs & strips of landscape will appear in areas where there should be sea (visible also in the default scenery of FSX) as well as other peculiar & undesirable effects!

A high specification computer system (o/c core i7 or i5) is also a pre-requisite for smooth operation of this scenery. The scenery may not be absolutely 'true-to-life' in every detail, but it does try to maintain a balance between reality and virtual non-reality features which is lacking in the default scenery of FSX. Good frame rates (fps), level of detail (LOD) and minimization of 'draw-calls' have been kept in mind throughout the various development stages.

The Port of Southampton X depicts well known landmarks around the port.

The Port of Malaga is the first volume in a series of 'European & UK Ports UTX' add-on scenery developed by FlightSem Software (FSS) specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The scenery is intended to be used with Microsoft FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack and Flight 1 Ultimate Terrain X (Europe) software upgrades, with optional, but recommended, Ground Environment X (Europe) software support. A high specification computer system (core i7 or i5) is a pre-requisite for smooth operation of this scenery.

The Port depicts well known landmarks including:
