Following the update to their MiG-15, Bear Studios has released Service Pack 5 (SP5) for their MiG-17. These updates include: P3D and DX10 compatibility, highly detailed exterior and cockpit models, canopy / storage jettisons animation, ejection seats. Detailed cockpit with classic gauges with communication, navigation and firing control systems. Weapon system and deliverable weapons simulated with working smoke tails. Highly detailed textures, backlit gauges, two-color cockpit flood light and console light effects, navigation/beacon lights all controlled by interior light system.
The update also includes eight MiG-17 variants with ten models for different payload configurations, and system simulations for radar, range, and target designate equipment. The FSX VC model includes full 3D cockpit with shadow casting.
