• Feature: Where In The World #53 Results

Wooligong, Australia, was the answer for last month. Thank you to everyone who entered "Where In The World" #53, our final event in the series.

For reference, here are the clues:

Where in the World #53 - Go ahead and just grab an aircraft, choice of aircraft determines the length of the flight and it's less than 700 miles to the east. A small regional airport that is tied to Flight Simming in a big way.

So Where in the World are we going to?

Think that should be Woollongong - about 100km south of Sydney (YSSY).
Does anyone know what the link to flight simming mentioned in the clues is?

That sounds good but but the current airport is in Australia. 700miles is in the the neighborhood of 1200km which is in no way near Seattle. I also doubt KSEA, wouldn't Friday Harbour be a closer bet; seeing that it is the default starting point.

I think you guys are all missing the note about this being the result from the 53rd and final entry in this series. There is no next challenge, the series is over.

I am sorry I simply had to stop without warning--the answer to the last in the series is YWOL Home of the Historic Aircraft Restoration Society and the The debut Orbx airport from Ed Correia http://www.fullterrain.com/product_ywol.html

      Capt. Dee,
pity to hear the series is over. I have enjoyed looking into the challenges (giving up often). Some intersting places and trivia.
Sincere thanks to Ron Blehm for starting the series, and you for picking up the banner !
It was a fun trip !

Who Won-Everybody who ever participated won--I lost all info on the contest-so I cant give names-but I think only 1 or 2 were incorrect-if you played along-just check your answer against the correct one.
