• Announcing FSPS - 737 IFR Real Money July Contest Ticket

Flight Simulator Platform Solutions hits the market with an exciting new concept in flight simming that will surely shake things up.

For the first time in our beloved hobby we're offering a real IFR airliner contest where sim pilots can compete to earn the highest score and to improve their skills. But if that's not enough incentive, we're also putting an amazing $1500 in real cash up for grabs for top scores!

Every month, a flight along with its briefing, charts and information is created. Your task: Get into your Boeing 737 NG (either the default FSX 737, iFly 737 or PMDG 737 for FSX), fly as perfectly as possible following the procedures and instructions provided, and then finally land.

It is not as easy as it looks. The pilot must demonstrate exceptional skills in navigation and flight without autopilot during critical stages of the flight like the takeoff-departure sequence and the approach-landing. The weather is also designed to give you some challenges along the way.

Pilots can take unlimited "Test Flight" tries during the month to prepare themselves, but only one "Real Flight" is allowed per ticket to qualify for the monthly prize. (However, you can purchase additional tickets to try and beat your previous official score.)

Naturally the competition will be tough! Thousands of pilots are expected to participate, testing their skills against all others. But good competition is not the only reason someone can fly.

Every month the best three pilots will win a great cash prize:

    1st position $1000 USD
    2nd position $350 USD
    3rd position $150 USD

Too bad so sad FS9 pilots.

On another note, Airlines could be fishing for potential investment worthy people on the low.

I would think that the default 737 would be a lot easier to fly then the pmdg.. the contest should all use the pmdg 737ngx..
