    Carenado

On July 5th, 2012 Carenado announced the start of a new project development regarding FS2004. Due to numerous posts and emails from customers claiming they have been left abandoned in FS2004, Carenado invested in a new technique which allows porting some FSX developed aircraft into FS2004. Within the next months Carenado will "test" the market releasing a couple of FS2004 aircraft.

The feasibility of the project in time will depend on the number of people acquiring FS2004 aircraft for that platform. This means each aircraft will be developed considering the previous aircraft behavior in terms of demand.

Even though FS2004 technology does not allow us to make aircraft like the ones in FSX in term of visuals and technology, Carenado will provide a very good representation of the actual aircraft (as usually).

Our first release will be F33A Bonanza FS2004 which will be released in the next days. Pictures will be available in the next hours.

Carenado products are available from the FS Pilot Shop.

Good move! I have a feeling FS9 users at least equal FSX users in numbers still.

I hope more software developers will realize that there are many of us who are sticking with FS2004, for various reasons and will not continue to "leave us out". Great News, I will be looking forward to the release.

This is welcome news indeed! I love Carenado's models, they are the best GA available IMHO. I already have several and now I can look forward to some more.

      I agree with above comments.

i will not move to a FSX world because i have invested so much on my FS9 universe i just will not let this go away...and start everything from scratch...

I was surprised to see that fewers payware developpers seemed to be willing to go on offereing FS9 new products... and i have a clear issue with aerosoft here... ;-)

All Right! I was, to say the least, bummed when Carenado decided to get out of FS9. I am so glad to see that they are going give it another try. They've got a customer in me for sure.

Great news. I also think that it would be great if they make a B1900 C and D.

      +1

I think FS2004 is still the most used flight simulator on on-line ATC networks like IVAO.

But I prefer Carenado's X-Plane models, because of their better graphics and flight dynamics.

      Fantastique !

Nous sommes de très nombreux simmers sur cette planète à voler toujours sur FS9. Il est bon ce FS9! Merci au nom de tous les anciens et irréductibles de FS 9 d'avoir pensé à nous. Bravo !

Great news! I to have alot invested in 2004, and i am unwilling to start all over from scratch. That would be a very expensive proposition in time and money.

Here's an idea, Carenado: fix the mess-ups with your CURRENT boxed FS9/FSX payware products BEFORE you start offering FS9 exclusive products to us consumers.
The Piper PA34/PA28 box version you have out there now is a joke, for 27+ US dollars.
It takes off and lands like crap -other than that, it flies fine. No patches/fixes available for this product whatsoever though to fix the issues -what a ripoff imo.
Until you start making an concerted effort to start fixing the mess-ups with a current product (like this one here) I spent $$$ on, you will not see a dime from me anymore.

I was so happy after I saw this news. MSFS2004 is my pride and joy and I would love to continue on some scenery work for MSFS2004. But beside the point, im a huge Carenado fan, and I have been eyeing the C208 Caravan for some time. And from the last email I wrote to Carenado regarding a FS2004 version of the C208, it was sad to hear that they can't produce a FS2004 version. And now that I know it can be done, it's going to be super! Thanks Carenado
