As it was the season I chose a place that seemed to be where a lot of things could happen. Rovaniemi Airport is the fifth largest airport in Finland. Santa Claus Village and Santa Park are situated within two miles. Also an arctic automotive testing center is nearby. The airport is located six miles from the city center, so it's not far away from Santa Claus's Office. The Arctic Circle cuts right through Santa Claus Village.
The Concorde flew many Santa Claus flights into here for several years.
So for Where in the World #48, you will need to fly east-south-east, to a gem of an airport that has an airline based there and a interesting bit of scenery on approach. Although both FSX and FS2004 do not detail this area, this place is a real diamond in the rough. So let's all avoid pitfalls, and live in peace this year.
