Repaint request

Hi guys I am wondering if any of you repainters will be willing to take on the challenge of repainting the meljet 777 in Singapore Airlines 50th anniversary colours? I have tried it my self but apparently my computer is not good enough to be able to do a nice repaint. I have done a little bit though and so I can send you the files that I have done so far. Here is a pic:

As you can see the textures are very blurry if you look at it at an angle. This is not true for the original meljet repaint of Singapore Airlines.

Before giving up on that, why don't you try saving the texture without mipmaps? Then tell me the result. ;-)

How do I remove Mips?

in DXTBmp, Edit - Use Dither with Enhanced Mip, if I remember unselect that... don't go by me though..

You should visit this page and d'load DXTBmp. Also, on the left menu, go to Graphics tools and d'load the DLL's.

After installing everything, open your saved texture in DXTBmp (Load normal image), go to PREFS and UNselect INCLUDE MIPS.
Save it (Save Extended image) in your desired format. Pay attention to your Alpha Channel on the top-right side. You may have to load a new one.

Well I did remove the mips and this is what I have why don't you guys compare it with the real thing? Meljet really has done a great job!

Yes. I also must not use antialiase on the textures so it will improve the textures.
