I just noticed all my digital readouts on every instrument that uses digital numbers on all panels is gone. For instance the numbers on the radios, DME, clocks, Autopilot functions etc. Every readout on every panel of every aircraft is gone, just stopped working, dissapeared. It is as if the avionics were turned off, but flipping the switch doesn't change anything. Nor does the battery switch. Analog guages have not changed. I tried to think what I had done that might have screwed everything up. Well tonight I just found the Wilco patch to let Airport version 3 work in FS 2002. I loaded my Airport three and the new patch and let it run. There are some aircraft loaded with the scenery as well. The install went off with out a hitch and it never made any mention about overwriting anything. I found new guages in my FS folder but it looks like these are new from Wilco, they are preceded with AV2V3 or something.
I really don't understand what might have changed. Something with the Fonts perhaps? All Microsoft aircraft panels and all third party panels seem affected. Oddly enough, the digital clock on the stock Lear 45 works, but that is the sole exception. On thinking more about it yesterday I installed a recent Saab-340 that had errors and then the fix which didn't work well either and promptly removed them but I did't notice the digial problem. E-mailed Wilco but have heard nothing back as yet. Once again I am not positive it has anything to do with the new patch as I downloaded several thing in the last few hours. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Possibly you lost some fonts in FS2002. The following fonts should be in the FS2002 Font directory: arialnb.ttf, arialnbi.ttf, glassga.ttf and quartz.ttf.

If I remember coorectly the quarz font takes care of the instrument numbers.

Thanks, Yes I have all those four fonts. I have it all fixed again. I didn't feel like waiting for any help from Abacus. It appears they are in no hurry to respond to my plea for help. It is a weekend I supose. With the beauty of Windows XP, I set XP to return to a position 12 hrs past and it returned everthing to before the Airport 3 and patch. All the lights are back on and all the Abacus files I had loaded were removed. ALL digital numbers on every panel now work again. So it seems to point pretty much to a problem either with my Airport 2000 #3 although I used it in FS2000 without a problem or maybe the patch. I have no simple way to determine what is in the patch. Time will tell as people start downloading the patch and we will see if anyone else has a problem. I never figured what erased or replaced everthing but I am certainly not going to run the Abacus patch again tonight.
