Air France #061 L. A. to Paris nonstop

On pushback I'm looking out to the side window and admiring the Qantas 747-400ER that landed earlier.

About 30 minutes after takeoff we get this beautiful sunset. This shot is now my wallpaper on my desktop.

We will finally level off at FL 360 over Jackson, Wyoming. here we burn some fuel at FL 260.

After a relatively short night the sun starts to rise again just before we hit Greenland.

I actually fell asleep and didn't hear ATC telling me to descend. Started a bit late and tried to catch up.
