I'm sorry for being off-topic one more time - I think I have that tendency, but fortunately its well received here, doesn't it...? Eh...? - but I just had to share this one with you: Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead. Please enjoy and forgive me!

------------ JUNE 6, 1944 ----------------
---------- NORMANDY, FRANCE --------------
---------------- D-DAY -------------------
-------------- 3000 FEET -----------------

Aboard a C-47 transport, somewhere over Normady, France...

"Heads up, everyone, we're almost there! Equipment check!"

"Green light, green light, GO, GO, GO!!!!"

I'm out of the aircraft! Lots of Triple-A down below, many gun emplacements, Nazis all over the place... isn't there a safe place to land here?!
http://www.flightsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3addc76c8b245a.jpg

My God! The AAA took down a C-47 and it crashed against another one! I hope those guys left the aircraft on time...

I land in a barn... Immediately Wehrmacht troops enter the building... I open fire with my Garand and take down some of them

I'm out of the barn. I take control of a AA gun just in time, because there comes a truck full of enemy soldiers... I squeeze the trigger and BOOM!

I keep going... I have to find the British... Suddenly lots of guys start shooting from behind... There's a MG-42 emplacement! Eat your own bullets!
http://www.flightsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3ae1016f7b0c3e.jpg

I found the Brits... but no time for relax! A tank comes out of the woods... I quickly gain command of a nearby AA gun and take it out!

OK, now here they are, my squadmates.
"Ah, Sergeant... good job on that tank, mate! Would you care for a cup of tea?"
They supply me with new weapons and ammo. This is a Sten Mk II submachine gun, fully automatic. They also gave me a Lee-Enfield bolt-action assault rifle, a revolver and some grenades.

Suddenly, a hidden enemy soldier comes out... I put a round in his chest before he could do anything... That must have hurt! About weapons, I prefer bolt-action rifles to automatic weapons. In MOHAAS you get new weapons, pistols, SMGs and rifles, including the German Mauser KAR98 (and the scoped sniper version), the Mosin Nagant soviet assault rifle (very cool), the German Gewehr 43 - cool sniper rifle, semiautomatic and very accurate - and a SVT-40, russian sniper rifle, also semiauto but neither accurate nor powerful (too much recoil and little stopping power).

Ok, time to keep up with the mission. Inside that warehouse was a flak .88, now destroyed. Nice boom, eh?
http://www.flightsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3ae286712a269b.jpg

There it is, another .88 about to become a pile of burning metal

BOOOOOM!!!! OK, objective complete... time to move on, the war does not stop here, soldier!

Oh, yes, VERY addictive! The first mission is awesome, that jump sequence... and then the fight in Berlin, very, very cool. The 2nd mission in Belgium I didn't enjoy it because it seems that my video card doesn't like winter trees and frame rates drop quite a bit... funny thing, it runs perfectly at max settings in non-winter scenarios.

Cheers!
