Hallo,

last sunday I continued to fly another leg of my -Around the World Tour 2002/2003-. I wanted to fly from the city of S. M. De Tucumán/Argentina to the capital of Chile --> Santiago de Chile. Due to the bad wind-situation I decided to shorten the flight-plan and to land at El Plumerillo Airport in Mendoza/Argentina <-- I wanted to prevent another emergency-landing. ;-) Moreover the mountain-terrain around Santiago de Chile is a little bit "unpleasant", that is why I think it was the right decision ! :-)

Summary: The not very favorable wind-situation, forced me to abort my flight and to land at the El Plumerillo Airport of Mendoza. The airport is situated at an very unusual place. ;-) <-- Funny approach ! :-lol

--> The approach was unusual but not too difficult. I promise that I will use the C177RG version before I reach the north american continent again. Maybe I will take it for a flight in the caribbean area. Ok ! :-) I want to take the C421C for the flight out of Rio de Janeiro.
