Steve: Thanks, you've got to explain me one day how you edit your shots, I always love the colors you use... :-cool
what program have you got, Adobe Photoshop, or Jasc Paint Shop Pro?

Fredrik: To be honest, that landing wasn't smooth at all, I was struging against an almost 90° crosswind from the left(had to use almost full rudder too) which caused the aircraft to slow down so quick and sink so fast, I had to use FULL Flaps and about 70% thrust to get her on the runway... I'm still amazed I got her right behind the numbers, almost on the centerline, and that without a puff of smoke... rolling out, was something different... reverse thrust, spoilers, full flaps and max brakes just nearly kept me on the runway... :-eek

Paul: Thanks mate, unfortunately the amount of replies don't really prove that, but what the heck, at least I'm having fun... :P

Ok. :-lol

Are you supposed to use full flaps in (heavy) 90° crosswind or did you use full flaps to "save" this Boeing 737 from crash? ;-) If so, is that really the best way to avoid, for example, a heavy sink-rate (during crosswind conditions)?

Fredrik: I was just doing all I knew NOT to crash her, that's all
I don't know standard procedures in that sort of weather in real life :-eek

Yannick: Well here you go for a revelation of truth :-roll

Philip: Thanks, mate

Ben: Now why's that :-hmmm

Stephane.. Thanks for the compliments about the edits above. I use Photoshop 7. It's a combination of a light touch until the effect is right but not too much so that hopefully it retains the FS image and not too much like an edit, unless i want that look.

Well I'm a proud user of Adobe Photoshop Elements, and I like it but there are still 1001 functions I need to know about :-roll
