YAY! EBWorld has updated the FS2002 release date to 10/18/01, instead of 11/01/01. There is hope yet! And even more promising, Sybex 2002 tips and secrets guide has been released! Yay! Woohoo!

I suppose there would be no reason for them to move the date up if they didn't think the new date was more accurate!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-10-01 AT 11:57PM (EDT)[p]Amazon still says "November 1st", Best Buy says Oct. 20th, and EB says the 18th. I am guessing it will be out somewhere between the 18th and the first. Well, that is what Miss Cleo thinks anyway... :-lol

What does this book even have? I don't buy books for flight sims, only for shooting games, with levels to beat and stuff...What is the point of this book? What does it have? Just curious, maybe I DO want it, i dunno...

The FS2000 one had additional info on the default planes, scenery highlights (Taj Mahal, Grand canyon, Hollywood sign...) multiplayer info, challenging flights, emergencies, walkthroughs of all the adventures, additional help with the navigation stuff,
help with the aircraft editor, and also advanced flight techniques.
