Last day of the airshow. These shots are of the static display planes. Hope you like the shots! ENJOY!!!
To sum up the airshow:
It was awesome as usual, but it could have been much better. Last years was terrific. This year, they missed out on the following:
-no real A-10 demo
none of the following:
-Ju-52, He-111, F-86 Sabre, Wildcat, SB2C Helldiver(:-(), Skyraider, and Shockley Shockwave jet truck.
Although, this year they did have:
-3 B-25s, 4 Avengers, the C-47, and the Skymaster
Last year, two F/A-18s were actually based at the airport, with two P-40s and 2 B-17s.
I can't complain though, it's always a terrific airshow, and I look forward to next years, when they go all out for the centennial of flight celebration!! :-)

One of the 3 [flying] Avengers at the show. (The 4th one is being restored to a warbird after it served as a fire bomber. It is owned by the Frederick wing of the Commemorative Air Force, where it will be restored at KFDK!! I hope to help the restoration process. :-))
