FS2002 Changes

There seems to be, in this forum, many suggestions and recomendations that microsoft change this, add that, or repair whatever. Being that I am a relative flightsim virgin, I'm curious...

...Has microsoft, in past versions of FS, made corrections and offered updates for existing versions? If so, how do they get these updates out to the legions of folk who have a copy?

Yes, Microsoft has realeased updates. Normally only one, at it seems to go well with all MSFS owners. Hey, who wouldn't want a patch that speeds up the Sim, and fixes errors?

Probably a dumb question, but do the patches show up in the microsoft automatic update feature along with all the other microsoft product updates? Or does one need to go to a specific website to download the patches?

You can download the patches directly from Microsoft's web site or from this and other flight sim sites.
