Comet 4C to Eritrea

Decided to jump out of the props for a bit and give this fabulous model a spin. Real weather from FSMeteo, but it was pretty clear. High winds for my first Comet landing...so you won't be seeing any of those!! (It was less than stellar...need more practice!) Enjoy, Chuck :)

Hi all, thanks for the comments! No, I didn't sink like a submarine, but I didn't exactly keep it under control!! I had a wicked crosswind and almost hit my right wing on the pavement, and it wasn't exactly on the centerline!! I might have posted landing shots, but when I did the replay, it retracted the gear and flaps and pretended it was a hovercraft!! Anyone know why it might do this? And slimdady...DO I know why??? :):) Chuck

I love the Comet and it is interesting to see that you have taken almost the same flight as i did. Departure was Khartoum but the destination was Tamanrasset in Algeria.

Great shots ,man the Comet rules and Mr Maltby did a beautifull job with this famous bird.
