I have just downloaded the excellent-looking cessna bobcat by bill lyons, but i have a problem. I started up fs2002 and took a look in the aircraft select screen, and it wasnt there. So i went to open it in fsedit. A dialogue box popped up that said the panel isnt compatable with fsedit. That didnt worry me too much. Then i clicked on the test button. it opened fs2002 like usual, but then it displayed a dialogue box that said it had problems initializing (sp) the aircraft. Anyone have a fix?

Hi,
Did you unzip the file directly to your FS2002 folder. If you did, the unzip should have placed the files in the proper folders automatically.
TB is right, it should appear in the Cessna choices on the aircraft selection screen. Both the wheeled and amphib version.

i have every thing in the right folders, i did everything correctly, i go to look in my cessna folder, and this is what i get : C172sp, C182rg, C182s, C195, C208, C208B.
It's not there. It says it cant initialize it when i try to open it directly thru fsedit.

I would then suggest that you download the file again, and then install it again.
This may clear it up..

This will take you right to the Golden eagles web site. I could not get it to install either until I downloaded directly from there site. Great plane I hope you can get it to work. There are some other cool things on there site too.

I agree, Whenever I get those kind of problems, first thing I do is redownload. You'd be surprised how often a file gets corrupted in transit.
