3d prophet 3 titanium 3,what drivers?

Just wondering what drivers you using for this card?as im not to impressed with my frame rates,i expect to have everything maxed out with a comfortable 15fps but at airports im only getting 5fps.hope somone can help as its a new card and its not much better than my old geforcegx.Thanks paul.

What are the rest of your computer specs. We can't help unless we can see the whole problem.

I have an athlon XP 1800+ and a visiontek GeForce 2Ti 200. I am using 2185 under Windows 98SE and the stock 1240 under XP. I changed my drivers from the 2183 trying to find my rebooting problem. The real problem was heat related. I could go back to the 2183 if I desired but it is not a problem yet.

It would seem you have enough horsepower but I can't tell without knowing a lot more about your computer. What kind of sound card, operating system, other programs running in the background. Try this website for TSRs running http://www2.whidbey.net/djdenham/index.htm .

Thanks ill go there in a sec,i have soundblaster live,win98 and i dont have anything running in the background apart from explorer and systray.Iv also got a gigabyte motherboard but im not sure which model.Thanks again,Paul.

Paul,

You may have trouble putting in the Detonator drivers. Hercules only list the 21.81 drivers as current on their site. On my system I can't use Detonator drivers without a freeze in both D3D and OpenGL. I've tried 21.83, 21.88, 22.80 and 23.11's...

Others have reported all sorts of issues with later drivers, which perhaps is the reason that 21.81's are the latest listed...
