where'd my taxiway centerlines go ??

After letting my 10 year old niece fly around in the extra (bad idea) over christmas, alone, I come back and find that I no longer have taxiway centerlines and when a crash occurs, I start back at altitude, not back at the airport like I used to do. I have all the sliders where they were originally and have crash detect on, but I still cant get the centerlines to come back...helllllpppp!!!!

Hello,
I was thinking that possibly, she may have hit the ; Key to save flight, then possibly hit the 'make this the default flight' box.
As for the taxiway lines, hmmmm. Somehow, possibly the file that has the centerlines in it got removed.(??) Look in the texture folder for the file: taxiway_marks.bmp
If it's not there, you can get it from disc1 in one of the .cab files., or there was a download here for better lines, just add that one. If the file is there, well... I am at a loss. Sorry.
(I like the somehow possibly, maybe thing,lol) It's great she wants to fly though, and with help, she may really enjoy the sim.

I 've encountered this problem too, I don't know why the taxiway centerline has disappeared!!!

and I checked the texture folder, that file still exists!!!

If all else fails reinstall .Why not?

Hi again,
Before I would re-install, i'd try replacing that one file, as it may be corrupted, evev though it is there. Pull it off the disc, and replace. If it still doesn't work, then do the reinstall. Good luck. Gary Rabbitt
