Hi Guys, I have made several attempts at editing some panels, replacing gauges and so forth with FSEdit that came with the PRO edition. The problems I am encountering are not too bad, but a better set of instructions on running that thing would be better. I have lost several a/c and have had to reinstall them because it did not save properly. I have read the help that came with it and it does not give enough info to operate it.
Do any of you know of a better tutorial on making that tool work? Sure would be appreciated. TIA c.j.g.

get cfgedit from www.cfgedit.com. It is a better panel editor but it will not work on the new XML gauges in the fs2002\gauges folder in the *.cab files. They have a shareware program that will work on these gauges.

If you want to edit panels, avoid FSedit as you would a bug infested heap of camel droppings.....much the same thing when it comes to panel editing!

Very Well, I will forego the editing, I certainly do not want camel dung on my shoes. Thanks for the tip. Happy New Year to all of you. c.j.g.

Bill's first post above mine is good advice. I use cfgedit for most panel making/adjustment and it worls well (and it's free). (AND no camel dung ;-))
