Try the instrument approach with a 'Heavy' into Sion, Switzerland (LSGS) It's a 6 degree G/S. Or the LOC app.into Innsbruck (LOWI), Austria, from KUHTAI NDB with a circle to land at RWY 26.
Watch out for the severe weather there. Lots of 'cumulus granitus' around.
Merry X-mas from LOWS.

If you take a look at the "World Tour" pages on the FSVC site, I came across a landing where the approach is over a cliff (Greenland somewhere if I recall correctly).

This make the initial descent somewhat steep if you approach it from the direction I did!!! (I got down in a Baron - but it was REAL close!!!)

If you want a challenge, try it something heavier.

Merry Christmas! :)

Go to the Howto section and read some of Andrew Herd's tutorials on dangerous approaches, or try to fly into Kai Tak with that six engine Antonov (don't remember the name).

is kai tak even there? i looked around for it (although in reality, i have no clue where it is, i just flew around tokyo looking for it... wait a minute, is it even in tokyo....!!!) i think it would be neet to go into, but i just assumed that it wasn't in FS2002

Set up some instrument conditions at published minimums just about anywhere and perfect such things as NDB or VOR approaches with procedure turn, missed approach and hold as published.

Get your ATP rating.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-30-01 AT 11:03AM (EDT)[p]Algore: Didn't you once claim that you invented the Internet? :0). I believe that airport has been removed from FS2002 and it is geographically located in Hong Kong.

I don't see how one can get bored with flightsim..with real
weather (and fsmeteo for those who have it) there are thousands
of weather/flight condition options available that change
with the weather everyday!
