I have always wondered what was so special about this plane?

Well...now I know... 450HP engine and a real nice aircraft overall!

Small airfield in Utah.

Off we go! WOW, these 450 horses really make it a good STOL!

Climbing to 13000 feet without the slightest problem.

Ontop, and flying towards the "hills".

Aha, the "hills".

Nice roads down there...

Oops! This aircraft is so fast that I almost missed the airport and had to make a steep descent towards it.

Full flaps, and slowing down.

Touch down! Great flight! Got to taxi backtrack now...

Well that's "all" from the Beech D-17S, but here is a small aviation humor...thing...

As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man,
I have chalked up many a mile.
Read dozens of books about heroes and crooks,
And I've learned much from both of their styles.

Thank you very much, these were taken in Utah, I just chose the state in FS2002, and scrolled down and found "something-ranch". I can't remember, but the scenery has the USA Mesh...looks good if you ask me.
