Of my grandfather who just passed away this Monday morning. Just came back from the services and inspired me to do a memorial for him. He served in the army and was deported to France (what i got out of it) He was a war hero somewhere in Germany in WW2. Then his iflty. was moved to Pearl Harbor where, i just learned, was there when the JAPS attacked. Also in france he was 2nd Sgt and either 1st or 2nd ltnt. After Pearl Harbor, they were positioned to Japan for the BOMB! But, it dropped soon before he got there. So he was discharged and cut hair for the rest of his life. We will remember you pap, always. Sorry for this, i just had to do it. I never knew about this stuff until we found a little journal he kept.

Thanks for sharing Benjie, and sorry to hear about your mis-fortune. We take a lot of people for granted at times. Nice picture, and I am sure he appreciates it.

You don't have to say 'I'm sorry' for doing that... It's a beautiful way of saying goodbye to a beloved person. It is a wonderful picture. Really, it is.

Im sorry to hear of your loss. I hated it when my grandfather died. It takes time to get over it and there will always be something missing, but you will start to feel better and come to terms with it...Stay strong and you'll be fine.

My deepest sympathy
