I am still working on this cloud thing..
But I think I am going to enjoy these planes... Download and installation was a breeze, very complete documentation too!

Now I just need to play with this "text-o-matic" thing some more. And read, and read, and read....

Tell me something Jeff, is Text-o-Matic a good program for re-painting "any" aircraft or is it only good for DF737's?
Nice shot! My brother mentioned this a few days ago:
"Hey Arman what if you repainted a plane in the US flag scheme? Do you know how many downloads it would have?"
And today when I saw this I was amazed! It's like a De Ja vou feeling, if I spelled that right.

Anyway I like the plane!

Regards,
Arman

Text-o-Matic is designed to work exclusively with the Greatest Airliners: The 737-400 package.

Love that livery, I'm a BIG DF fan, where did you find that template? I didn't see it hosted at DF.
Thanks in advance!

Frank,
Thanks... I am just a beginner with Dream Fleet. I did download the texture at Dream Fleet's site.

She's a sweetie to fly, I fly her almost exclusively. She's going to make the SW flyin today, just finished programming the flight plan, nice to able to do that without starting FS. Tom is a genius!

Jeff –

I’ve seen some really sweet liveries for the DF 737 – but that one… Mmmmm… that one really gets a ribbon…
Nice shot of it, too!
(TG for nVidia).

I have this thing about eagles … I love ‘em! & you know they always look good over red, white and blue …

I know you’ve said the docs for the DF are very complete – but I’m really wondering how they’re written… I mean, is it so technical I really may not be able to understand it?
I know that’s a really tough question to answer.
My problem starts with the D/L problem thanks to this wretched dialup we have here.
Were I to get the DF and docs, I’d have no choice but to order the CD.

I’m still just so uncertain as to whether it would be usable for me, I haven’t as yet just taken that leap…
The temptation is pretty overwhelming though.

If at-all, in any way possible for you to shed any light on this aspect for me, I’ll be very deeply grateful.
I kind’a hate to toss the $30 for a plane too sophisticated for me to even fly… :-shy

Again – awesome shot and a really lovely livery selection!

Best –

- Tia

PS. I Love your sig. image seen in post #8 of this thread: that is totally ‘wicked.’

Tia,

Well...where do I start..? Can you handle it? Definitely! I started out reading, reading, reading, then just loaded it up, threw the throttles to the firewall and took off! You can just fly them like any other plane in FS.. or...you can go all the way.
..."I know you’ve said the docs for the DF are very complete – but I’m really wondering how they’re written… I mean, is it so technical I really may not be able to understand it?

The manuals are written I feel, so anyone can understand the basics of what you need to know. Don't know what to tell you about downloading or buying the CD.. I have a very fast connection and it only took me 10 minutes to get the whole works. I understand the CD has most everything on it. I must say it is fun, and I think you would enjoy using the "text-o-matic" program...it is very, very easy to use.

Hope this helps..

Jeff, again – thanks so much for the helpful information…

:-lol ..Yeah, shoot, between all Peter’s awesome shots, the steady flow of so many other’s always great DF shots (can one take a crappy SS of that bird?) – and now you… and then I just read what Tom has said about the package “deal:” – dang it – it’s just too much …

“Uncle!” already! :-lol

Thanks – what you’ve said here helps enormously…
I’m just going to go ahead and order the CD…

Foo! You guys who have that already are merciless! LoL! :-)
I’m sure I’ll have a much deeper appreciation for why that is shortly…

“You can just fly them like any other plane in FS.. or...you can go all the way.”

This is, above-all else, precisely what I was wondering … Thank you!

“I must say it is fun, and I think you would enjoy using the "text-o-matic" program...it is very, very easy to use.”

:-) ..I’m already having visions!

Kindest regards with much gratitude -

- Tia

Tia,...I'm a TOTAL novice!...but if I can handle it, YOU sure can! And a friendly multi sure helps for a 'check ride'!
I used it to repaint in the Ansett Olympic OZ livery. Just gotta re-install it to 2k2. Beats the Qantas livery hands down!
...I wonder if we could do 'reflections' textures on the great chrome textures now???...by bouncing off 'mirrors'??? then cut/paste the screenshots to text-o-matic?

By the way,...Jeff, ...where do I get those great Sig Pic templates???

Lengend,
Sig templates? Not sure what you mean by that.
