Here we go again! This pilot really messed up during takeoff. Well the guy just just off inches from a house but he hit a tree with his right main gear so he was trying to figure out what to do. The pilot finally made a belly-landing on the beach.

In CFS2, the gear are always getting shot up....you get used to landing your birds with bent wheels...lol. Shift G drops the gear by hand...if that doesn't work.....you're S.O.O.L.and it's prop strike city for you...or worse...
Great shots....

But this is the first time I got this plane to actually dammage the gear so I was pretty excited about it. Maybe I should get MS Combat 2? Kind of like the old style dogfight....maybe...

Check out the "We are poor little lambs..." thread and decide for yourself...hehehe. I think it's pretty darn realistic as a 1955 and earlier combat sim and with a few extra files (just like FS2002 et al LOL) you'll be dropping everything from torpedos to A-Bombs. As well...you'll find ALL your FS98 and FS2000 favorites work in CFS2....even Open Sky Boeing 747s and other biggies. Many FS2002 aircraft will work as well. The ships in CFS2 make FS2002 ships look silly and it is truely a tough job to land on a pitching WW2 era carrier. If you ever decide to try CFS2 let me know and I'll stear you to the best sites. Out of the box, CFS2 is OK. But it is the work of the CFS2 community that truely brought this sim up to snuff. Now you can fight from WW1 all the way to Korea in style. Modern jets work tickity-boo but there is no provision in CFS2 for guided weapons (a blessing...trust me). This wasn't meant to be Falcon 4. So any weapons the modern jets use in CFS2 are just unguided missles and/or bombs. This keeps CFS2 mainly, like I said, pre 1955. This doesn't stop the guys from producing fine modern aircraft for CFS2, I must stress. There is an awesome B-52G in production for example, that everyone is drooling over. Airports of course, must be imported if you want Edwards or places like that, as out of the box, you'll find CFS2 a bit shy on places to land after you've played for a while. But the community has built tons of extra add-on airports just as in FS2000 etc. As well all the FS2000 airports will import straight into CFS2. This includes 3rd part creations. The photo real stuff works extra good. Leave the stock FS2000 Pacific folders out of the mix, mind you. Mesh seems to be MADE for CFS2 as when I add the same mesh to both FS2002 and CFS2 the results are much, much, better in CFS2. Might be due to CFS2 being a blank page so to speak, as only the Pacific is rendered in detail out of the box.
Anyhow, CFS2 is a pretty safe bet, I think. FS2002 is GREAT as a civilian flight simulator but, darn it, you can't shoot anything, hehehe.
Cheers,
Rolf

Well I will have to wait for a while, I just got FS2K2. And maybe if I wait there will be a CFS3? But I guess it's the next game on my list.
Thank you,
Arman

There is indeed a CFS3 in the works...but it will be a year (or almost) yet before they release it if I'm correct.
