Over the past few days, I have been taking a tour of airports in Central Asia and Afghanistan. Here are few shots of (mostly landings) from that trip.

Rough cross-wind landing in Baku--winds were 23 knots at about 15 degrees to the left of the runway heading. The landing was hard on the tires but successful.

On initial approach into Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, another aircraft passed about 500 feet below, and 1 mile in front of my aircraft.

Landing at Bagram airbase in Afghanistan. The scenery in FS2K only supplies a runway (completely undamaged), but the surrounding mountains were realistic enough.
