Hi,
My CSF3 just stopped working. One day it was fine the next it started crashing upon loading. It seems to be a graphics problem, because the crash happens when the game graphics are about to run.
I'm running windows XP, Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 video card with the lastest driver, the lastest version of DirectX. All the diagnostics say the system and drivers are working fine, the CSF3 program just dies. I can get to the game menus by starting the program in safe mode configuration however if I try to load a mission it crashes. No freezing just a program crash. I've tried reinstalling, unistalling the CSF3 program. I've tried reinstalling the video driver and DirectX. If anyone has experienced this problem and found a solution please let me know.

Thanks & Keep On Sim-in',

I get the same often. You need to go to the CFS config, and revert to default settings. Start the game, it should start ok now, then you can go back to the config and change the settings back to how you want them.

You may find it will happen agian at some point, don't know why, but it just does!

Happy flying.

The almost same thing happened to me, except I've never played the game before. I got it for Christmas last year but every time I loaded it it said that my video hardware wasen't good enough. So I tried your solution, but CFSConfig said that my display adapter was unsupported. I got a Intel(r) 82810 Graphics Controller. Where could I find a display adapter that will work?

Thanks a lot!

Happy flying!

The display adapter is your graphics card, sounds like yours is onboard, which has no chance of running CFS3.

You need a seperate graphics card fitting such as a Geforce 4, but I wouldn't upgrade just for CFS3, I still am having a few glitches and have a top of the range machine!

Thanks, I'll try downloading it, if it has glitches in my computer, I'll just switch it back.

Thanks a LOT!!!
